In my local language (Bahasa Indonesia) there are no verb-2 or past tense form as time tracker. So, I often forget to use the past form of verb when speaking english.
I saw him last night (correct)
I see him last night (incorrect)
But i think both has the same meaning and are understandable,

I walked out of a 7-year relationship while still madly in love with him. It was the most painful agonizing thing ever. But here is how I did it.
For years, I wore rose-colored glasses and convinced myself it wasn’t that bad. I romanticized the idea of us. I refused to believe that he was a monster and that’s what kept me there. But the pain from the relationship was unbearable. And I had to accept him for who he was. Accepting the reality of my situation was number one. I accepted the fact that:
After all that, it gave me the courage I needed to walk away.
It was tough. I cried a looooot. I have never been a crier. But trust me. The wells of tears was over pouring. I didn’t even think it was possible to hurt like that.
After two months of grieving, I started to get better. I started picking the pieces of my career. I started to discover myself again. I lost myself in him. I didn’t know who I was anymore.
Day by day, I did something for me. I read articles on healing and moving on. I started to learn about how foolish and naive I had been. I reconnected with my friends and started going out more. I wasn’t ready for a relationship. It was me time.
I deleted everything about him: his pictures, call history, chats, messages, phone numbers and unfollowed him on social media.
Slowly but surely, he started to fade. I didn’t have anything tangible to remind me of him. Only memories that started to fade. Some days were bad and others were good. Then the good days started to overshadow the bad until I healed completely.
I am happy now. I am peaceful. I never knew one could experience such peace and joy. I am ready to love again. There are so many possibilities for me and I want to explore everything.
It was hard. But that was how I left a relationship that my heart desperately longed for.

2. Try using your opposite hand; like if your’e left handed, use your right hand sometimes; and if you’re right handed, use your left hand sometimes; i.e, brushing teeth, writing few lines on paper.
3. Make it a habit to read new things everyday, try installing quora on your phone, stumble upon…; try Reddit, Pinterest, etc.
4. Learning a new programming language can increase grey matter in your brain, resulting in a more sharp and active mind; i.e Java, Scala, Python etc.
5. Setting goal for your body; i.e to have six pack abs, getting body in shape, increasing your stamina. A healthy body houses a healthy mind.
6. Try watching/listening to top 88 Ted talks. It’ll give you a new direction of thinking.
7. Try solving Rubik’s cube in your free time. It’ll help stimulate neurons in your brain.
8. Limit yourself from people who discourage you to try new things. Try new things and activities; and avoid time tables, because it’ll hinder you from trying new things.
9. Try having coffee on a daily basis, but make sure to not to overdose.
10. Playing mind games, like chess, Sudoku, and other strategic games. I’ve been playing it for about 4 days; it works like a charm, especially after level 4.
11. Add green vegetables, dry fruits, egg in your breakfast; milk at night; and omega 3, fish, coconut and olive in your overall diet.
12. Drink 8 glasses of water; and make sure to sleep for at least 7-8 hours everyday.

All good things ask for patience.
Discipline requires exceptional self discipline, patience, dedication and an indomitable will to keep going, despite all the challenges. It is about putting the best of your efforts on a continuous basis.
To instill that discipline, you need to consider your purpose as a challenge. In order to reach the destination, you need to start somewhere. A journey of a thousand steps begins with a single step and each step taken in the right direction counts.
It’s easy to begin with but tough to keep going when it’s not all sunshine. Motivation can take you places but only if you stick to it.

I can also usually tell within the first few moments of talking to somebody on the internet whether they are from a native English-speaking country or not. They’ll use slightly different phrasing. Use of idioms is also a dead giveaway.
I dunno. It’s usually patently obvious. This doesn’t make a non-native English speaker’s English bad by any stretch; just different.
I can also generally tell where native English speakers are from as well, at least in a general sense. Canadians tend to sound like Americans (even in writing) but spell more like the Brits. British persons obviously use British English and will use British colloquiums and the word ‘whilst’ often will pop up. Australians lean heavy on the word ‘mate’ a lot of the time. Americans use American spellings and sound like Americans.
And so on.
