Meet The Tribe That Offers Themselves To Male Visitors Freely

The Himba people of Namibia, are a unique set of people that their culture has some kind of practices that might not be appealing to people from other ethnic groups or tribes around the world.

The Himba people, that are also called the Ovahimba or Omhimba people, are a tribe of people that live in the Kunene region of Namibia. If you are wondering why this tribe is very strange, I’ll tell you one of their cultures.

They give free rounds of good s*x to their guests. As if that’s not enough, they live in isolation, with no connection to the outside world.

The people of this tribe work hard to ensure that their beliefs and culture is not contaminated by outsiders. This people have totally refused to accept civilization.

The Himba people are into livestock breeding and farming, while their women are occupied with gathering of wood, cooking, serving meals and looking for freshwater. Some of the villagers are socially inclined and religious, they worship ancient gods.

Polygamy is welcome in this tribe, and young girls get married in their early ages. Polygamy is what is still very common in Africa.

But the fact they don’t bathe, is very strange. Before you begin to wonder the reason why they don’t bathe with water, it’s because of their harsh climatic conditions. The Himba people live in one of the most extreme environments; the harsh desert climate and lack of portable water, this is why the write has difficulty in bathing.

Because they don’t bathe doesn’t mean that they look less pretty. When you see them on their traditional attire, they look good while some of them even expose parts of their body to look hot.

Since bathing is difficult for them, they make use of red ochre for their skins and make use of smoke bath daily, to maintain their hygiene.

They place charcoal in a bowl filled with herbs and then, they will gather near the smoking bowl and they will wash their body with the heat.

The people here are very friendly with strangers and visitors, but they don’t allow anybody to interfere with their culture.
