So many persons has lost their relationship due to lack of patience, understanding and trust (PUT).3 Things You Need To Make Your Relationship Stronger, because they are the pillars to every relationship due to the rapid break up in relationships in our society i decided to write an article showing why these attributes are very important in a relationship.
PATIENCE
Patience is conducive and the first condition for sustaining and nurturing any relationship but first of all I would want to define what PATIENCE really is.
What is patience?
Patience is the ability to accept the other person without getting annoyed or irritated with the persons behaviors, words, and characters as well as without complaints and judgments. Patience makes us overlook and put aside many aspects of the persons personality which do not aligned to our values and yet accept the person.
To make a relationship work, you have to be willing to do things that you would not normally do, and if you are truly in love with your partner doing these things may be effortless.
Patience plays an important role in a relationship, we have to be willing to wait things out and watch them progress naturally. Because being in love is a steady progression of emotions and so many things. We can’t expect our partners to be prefect in all aspect. I found myself a man who’s not the romantic type and sometimes it really aggravates me, but then i told myself that I wasn’t going to give up on him or myself just because it’s not there in the start, so I took it as a challenge to teach him how to be more romantic, in the process of doing that I learned how to always say what I want.
I know sometimes we women suck at this, and except our partners to read our minds. No honey, they aren’t mind-readers, I had to learn that in the course of my relationship. So if I want my hair stroked at night I tell him, I voiced what I want in a calm way and the changes that have happened has been really AMAZING! He’s not the same man I met honestly. Have patience and you’ll soon start getting them constantly.
Relationship is a progression, so try and have patience with your partners, voice out what you want, don’t always expect things when a person has not been groomed in a type of way, and you’ll be happier with yourself and your partner.
If I was wasn’t patience enough with my man I would have lost such an amazing personality. So from the story above you can see why patience is needed in every relationship, because impatient can make u loose a great man/woman so i urge every one of us to be patience with our partners to keep the relationship going. UNDERSTANDING
Understanding is quite important in any relationship for different reasons. The level of understanding you share with your partner will go a long way to determine how long and successful your relationship will be. Going further to cultivate an understanding relationship with someone, it’s important to try to see things from their own perspective. Taking time to understand your partner is going to improve your relationship. It can lead to having a more open relationship, and your communication is going to improve as a result of being able to know that your partner would understand you no matter what, is a great feeling. Without understanding there’s no room for growth in a relationship and for this fact love without understanding won’t last
TRUST
The relationship between trust and love is a close one. It means trusting yourself, your own judgments and trusting others. Trust is the foundation for any relationship….. After all trust means you can rely on your partners, can confide in them and feel safe with them. Without trust the relationship will be insecure and will eventually fail. Lack of trust is the main reason relationships fall apart, because if you don’t trust your partner it means you won’t feel secure that your partner actually loves you.
